Welcome to the land of Himalayas and the birth place of Lord Buddha! Our representative will be there at the Pokhara airport to receive you and transfer you to the hotel at Lakeside. After checking in the hotel, take your time to explore the Fewa Lake and the vibrant town of Lakeside. In the evening, you will get to meet your guide and the supporting staff for the trek. A quick brief and trek preparation.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, where the trek starts. You will be walking through riverside trails, stone staircases, and terraced fields before reaching the charming village of Ghandruk. This traditional Gurung village offers amazing views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. It is a perfect place to explore traditional stone houses, relax, and enjoy your first night in the laps of the Himalayas.
After the breakfast, the trail leads you through peaceful forests of rhododendron and oak. The chirping of birds and rustling leaves will accompany you as you gradually ascend to Tadapani. The mountain views from from Tadapani is truly magical at sunrise and sunset as every bit of the rays turn them golden.
Today’s trek is more quieter and off-the-grid. You will walk deeper into the forest, gaining altitude slowly and steadily. Dobato is a peaceful spot nestled in the hills, offering the best views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. Overnight stay will be at the local Tea house.
Today our day begins early with a short but steep climb to Muldai Viewpoint, one of the best-kept secret view points in the Annapurna region. From here, you will get a 360-degree views of more than 25 peaks, including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After soaking it all in, we will continue our trek toward Khopra Danda, the highlight of the trek. This high ridge feels like a balcony to the Himalayas, and the views are beyond words to explain.
Today is a challenging but rewarding day as we will hike to the sacred Khayer Lake, a glacial lake surrounded by silent wilderness. Not many trekkers make it here, which makes the experience feel even more special. After spending some peaceful moments at the lake, we will head back to Khopra Danda for the night.
As we start our descend from the Khopra ridge we will experience a dramatic change in the landscape. We will pass through beautiful alpine meadows and forest trails before arriving in Swanta, a quiet Magar village where time seems to slow down. We will enjoy the local hospitality and maybe a cup of hot tea while gazing back at the peaks we just came from. We will stay the night in a local tea house.
Today is our final trekking day! Our day begins with a gradual but steady climb to Ghorepani: Popular for the Poonhill viewpoint. We will be trekking through beautiful villages and lush rhododendron and oak forest until we reach Ulleri from where we will be taking a jeep waiting to take us back to Pokhara. The drive from Ulleri to Pokhara gives you one last chance to reflect on the incredible adventure you have had—full of mountains, quiet trails, and moments you won’t forget.
