Start: 8:30 AM – Hotel Pick-up in Lakeside Pokhara
Your guide meets you at your hotel, and we drive straight to the lakeside. Here comes the first real moment: a peaceful, early morning boat ride across Phewa Lake. If the sky’s clear, you’ll already see Machhapuchhre rising like a myth from behind the clouds.
9:00 AM – Start the Hike from Kopila or Peace Pagoda Trailhead
After the boat drops us off near the trailhead, we begin a gradual uphill hike through lush forest trails. It’s not too steep, but it does get your legs moving. Along the way, you will pass by small teahouses, monkeys swinging from trees to trees, and occasional viewpoints that make you stop mid-step.
11:00 AM – Arrive at the World Peace Stupa
The stupa itself is serene, set in a beautifully maintained garden. There is a quiet energy here - not religious in a preachy way, but reflective. Take your time to walk around the monument (clockwise, as per tradition), and soak in the 360-degree views. On a clear day, the snow-capped Himalayas stretch across the entire skyline.
12:00 PM – Optional Tea Break or Lunch Nearby
There are a few local cafés near the stupa where you can grab a quick lunch or a chai with a view. If you’re the kind of traveler who likes to sit, observe, and breathe in the vibe — this is your moment.
1:00 PM – Descend Towards Damside via Queen's Forest Trail
We hike down to Damside through Queen's Forest trail. And if you opt more, you can visit the Devis Fall and the biggest cave of south Asia, the Gupteshwor Cave.
3:00 PM – Arrive Back in Lakeside, Drop-off at Hotel
